Giambattista Valli SS23 Couture
An Italian fashion designer from Rome stunned everyone with his fabulous creations. Giambattista Valli put focus on dimension and color in his new 2023 haute couture show. Finishing his schooling at an Italian secondary school, Liceo, following earning an art degree. Founding the titular label in Paris in 2005, he hosted semi-annual haute couture and ready-to-wear shows. This season featured loads of bubblegum pinks, pastel blues, and marigolds. When asked about this season he had a whole pinboard full of beverly hill inspired photos. Which explains the use for the sunshine colors.
The textures were on route with the trends predicted for this year, tulle, feathers, however, put an emphasis on tulle. Some looks in this collection had amazing liquid silver knotted and draped siren dresses throughout the collection. When Valli was asked about it “Oh, they’re just draped like she’s got out of the pool and just tied it around her. Easy, like a pareo!”.
His designs are so airy dresses and vast ample coats which are assumed to be seen. Especially during award seasons, first Monday of May, and red carpet events. His creations have repeatedly proved to be divergent and witty proving his exuberant style. It’s much more expansive and voluminous, throughout poufs, bows, and trains, he can still make it so dishabille. I hope people can recognize his talent, and gain popularity, his attire is just so creative.
